18U Salas Takes Home the Hardware at Fall Celebration

October '23 - Lacey, WA - The WA Avengers 18U Salas squad jumped out early and stayed on top in the USSSA Fall Celebration tournament.  Sweeping the field, the girls outscored their opponents 3:1, with a couple of homeruns to seal the deal from Riley and Jossy. Due to a couple of unfortunate and untimely pitcher injuries, pitchers Paige and Katie (as well as middle infielder Katelyn) from the Charlton 16U squad stepped up with some inter-organizational love and provided meaningful assistance, including a combined no hitter from the circle. All around solid performance from the veteran club.
